this 32-page book gives kids an introduction to
Africa's geography, climate, animals, plants,
natural resources, and people.
I knew very little about Africa when I was asked to
write this book. It was fascinating to get just a
taste of all the different cultures--over
1,000--that exist on the continent. And of course
reading about the animals made me want to go on
safari! I've written about Africa in this book, my
giraffe book, my manners book, and in another book
that will be released in 2007. Maybe someday I'll
actually get to go there!
