This book is part of Heinemann's "Wild World"
series. It's aimed at kids just learning to read,
and has lots of great photos. It talks about how
giraffes are born, what they eat, and where they
live.
When I was writing this book, I learned about a
hotel in Africa called Giraffe Manor. Giraffes roam
the grounds, and even stick their heads into
the dining room while guests are eating
breakfast! It's hard to think of anything much
cooler than that. I'd sure love to go there
someday.
