I co-write the Sugar Plum Ballerina chapter books with Whoopi Goldberg. Maryn Roos does the wonderful illustrations. The books are about the girls who attend the Nutcracker School of Ballet in Harlem. Although each book focuses on a different girl, friendship takes center stage in every adventure.
